Introduction
The Easycorder
is a portable digital PC-Card recorder developed for professional use in
electronic news gathering. With its Solid state storage, metal case and
wide operating temperature range, it is capable of performing its tasks
under very poor conditions.
Build in
features such as a graphical editor, several means of communication, and
Time Shift Recording make it an extremely versatile tool for the professional
user. Thanks to its long lasting smart battery and its large internal storage,
recordings of more than several hours are no problem. External storage on
PC-Cards extends the recording capacity even further.
With state
of the art electronics for the microphone amplifiers, limiter and A/D -
D/A conversion the recordings are of outstanding audio quality. A large
illuminated screen and illuminated buttons, a mechanical and electrical
lock during recording, a large gain level control knob and presets for many
operational settings make the Easycorder especially easy to use. Due to
a number of supported audio- and file-formats the Easycorder integrates
seamlessly with most broadcast automation systems, enabling you to get your
scoop on the air in the minimum of time.

worst conditions and delivering the material from anywhere in the world
to anywhere else in a quick and reliable way!
Features
- "TimeShift" recording allows you to start
the recording but the unit actually loops a 20 seconds recording in
RAM.
- "SmartSpace" recording allows you to
automatically start and stop recording based on sound levels.
- A lock function can be set to disable
all other controls while recording, which helps avoid accidental disruption.
- Internal flash memory; a solid state,
reliable and non-removable storage medium provides storage capacity
for a minimum of 80 minutes and up to more than 5 hours of broadcast-quality
audio recording.
- Removable harddisk or flashcard for easy
and quick audio transfer to broadcast automation systems.
- Graphical representation of the audio.
- Simple non-destructive cut, copy and
paste editing, based on markers placed during record and playback.
- Undo and redo functionality.
