Incite is an extremely flexible and versatile editing software that draws its power from two of today's leaders in video/audio processing: Emmy award winning Matrox® DigiSuite Product family and Merging Technologies' Mykerinos PCI card for top-end audio. The combination allows separately dedicated video and audio processing perfectly merged within one editing interface, delivering a wide range of tools for both video and audio: real-time editing, realtime effects, compositing and mixing tools, real-time mixing capabilities, and of course Incite's unique "live input" and hybrid editing features.

Depending on your choice of DigiSuite, Incite can digitize, mix and deliver in a wide variety of
formats: un-compressed Motion-JPEG (mathematically lossless), compressed Motion-JPEG,
MPEG-2, DVCPro and DV (DV25 and DV50). Incite also supports the complete spectrum of audio
and video inputs and outputs. Video I/O can be composite, S-VHS, analog component, SDI
(serial D1) or DV (FireWire). ). For audio, Incite will accept analog (balanced or unbalanced) or
digital (AES/EBU) signals. Audio can be either 16 or 24 bit with support for variable sample rates
(32-96KHz).
