Hybrid

Tape to tape editing features let you mix live input with disk-based video and graphics, printing
the results directly to another device. 1 live video input, 2 disk-based video streams and a
graphics channel can all be combined and printed from the timeline.

Likewise, live input and disk-based video and graphics can be mixed to disk using Incite's
real-time mixing capabilities. In this case, only 1 disk-based video stream (rather than 2) can be
included in the mix-down.

Hybrid editing can be performed using DigiVTR or Incite's VLAN option. With DigiVTR, you can
connect two devices (1 play/1 record) using RS 232 (or RS232 to 422 converters). With Incite's
VLAN option, up to 31 VTRs can be controlled in remote by Incite for greater efficiency and
increased automation.

* Real-time mixing is currently not available on DigiSuite LX and DTV.
