Arranging
tripleDAT is specifically designed for easy and intuitive operation. Basically, everything is done within two main windows: The Arranger provides a standard (linear) view of your arrangement in time (horizontal) and in tracks (vertical). You can record, play, mix, arrange and even burn CDs directly from this single view. Powerful and flexible markers, snap-to, merge and undo functions enhance your speed and efficiency. Hot keys and right-mouse context sensitive pop-up menus give you fast and logical access to appropriate functions. The main menu bar displays time, meter levels, snap-to functions and the current settings of various session parameters.

Editing
The detailed editing window or Cutter is accessed by double-clicking any audio clip in the Arranger. The waveform is immediately displayed and available for sophisticated and sample-accurate editing and processing. Flexible looping, cut-copy-paste, selectable volume and pan curves, realistic "scrub" and edit history are among the many Cutter functions which permit lightning-fast work. The WYSIWYG interface makes navigation not only a breeze, but also very logical.

TripleDAT Effects

CD Writing
Thanks to tripleDAT's unique integration of CD writing functionality, creating your CDs couldn't be easier. There's no need to export files, swap to other programs or compile complicated PQ lists in text-edit mode. Within tripleDAT, it works just the way it should: you simply set your markers within the Arranger window and press "Write". This not only saves lots of time, it gives you precise results and avoids mistakes. Supports most common CD writers.

Reliability
In order to operate a recording studio within your PC, the software must be perfectly matched to the hardware for a multitude of reasons: audio quality, track throughput demands, signal processing, editing precision and operating performance, to name a few. This is one of the reasons why tripleDAT is the HDR system of choice for thousands of studio professionals the world over.

tripleDAT and CreamWare DSP systems
With tripleDAT version 3.0 and above, it is possible to connect the HDR software directly to products from the CreamWare DSP family. Pulsar, SCOPE /SP, PowerSampler, Elektra and Luna 2496 DSP all offer dedicated tripleDAT modules/drivers. Via these drivers, tripleDAT can simultaneously send 16 channels of audio directly to the DSP system, where the audio can be mixed and sent to any of the individual hardware outputs.

Pulsar TripleDAT Remote

Especially when tripleDAT is used with a Pulsar or SCOPE /SP, the capabilities of both systems mutually magnify each other. While Pulsar or SCOPE /SP - along with their extensive sound synthesis possibilities - enhance tripleDAT with generous DSP power for the mixdown of recorded tracks, including a wealth of realtime effects, tripleDAT in turn brings professional-grade recording functionality to the DSP system.

Naturally, tripleDAT supports all current synchronization methods, permitting you to integrate your favorite MIDI sequencer for control of Pulsar and SCOPE /SP synths or samplers as well as external MIDI instruments. You can configure a complete system in which nothing must be sacrificed, and in which the capabilities and advantages of every component can be fully exploited!
