Beijing, CHINA – August 21st , 2001– Canada Promedia Inc. at Oasis Studios/YYYD and for BIRTV 2001 releases the much anticipated Pyramix 4 digital audio workstation and Incite 2.8 Editor video workstation both systems fully localized into Chinese.
Canada Promedia Inc. is proud to be the first company to succesfully localize and extensively develop the Chinese versions of both Merging Technologies Pyramix digital audio system and Incite Multimedia Corps Incite Editor Video NLE for the Chinese market.
Slated for
the mainland China market, both systems are a culmination of 3 years of specialized
localization systems development on Canada Promedia's side. It will also officially
launch Canada Promedia's involvement in the localization systems market.
Using custom
software developed both in Canada and China and industry professionals on
both sides of the globe, both manuals and custom technical software can be
localized in a matter of weeks instead of months or years.
Local broadcasters and studios in mainland China are now steering towards
fully localized software for production and engineering. Canada Promedia Inc.
considers standardized localization using industry professionals crucial in
gaining market share of the now 3000 plus large broadcasting facilities in
China and the thousands of smaller studios across the nation.
Canada Promedia's localization system supports any Windows based software
(Win98, WinNT and Win2K) , and localization can be done for any language.
For the Chinese market, Canada Promedia also supplies industry professionals
to do the software translations and beta test the release code.
The new Pyramix and Incite Chinese versions have already generated pre-release
orders from CCTV (China Central TV), Guangdong TV, Radio Guangdong, Beijing
Film Academy and the China Information Institute with many more to come after
